Parent - Tot Swimming Lessons

Babies 6-36 months can enroll in our Parent-Tot lessons

• The biggest reason is water safety! However, your little one will also benefit from many physical, intellectual and social benefits from gaining balance and hand-eye coordination, to improved eating and sleeping patterns, to strengthening social, personality and confidence development.

• Children under the age of 3 years old who are not potty trained must wear two (2) re-usable swim diapers like "Happy Nappy" or "Big Elephant" swim diapers or a single "Happy Nappy Duo" swim diaper (which is double-lined).

  • • We evaluate each swimmer to address any situation where a class is not a match based on the skill level of the group. If you have concerns, please let your instructor or a manager know right away. Our goal is to provide the best lessons for our students and to always have students in the best class for their skill and development level.

  • • You will receive swim progression reports for your child on a monthly basis. Swimmers will be regularly evaluated and your swim instructor and our Deck Supervisor team will work together to inform parents as skills are being mastered and ensure swimmers are progressing to the next swim level when current swim level skills are achieved.

  • • Swimming is a skill learned through repetition. If your child is able to practice at home, (some skills even in a bathtub!), or attend swim lessons two times per week, it will improve their swim progression to achieve their swim goal.

  • • Every child will progress differently based on their individual needs and experience. Our instructors will work with your child helping them to master all of the skills at their current level to progress as timely as possible.

Swimmer Progress – Moving to the Next Level

  • • Swimmers can begin swimming lessons as early at 4 months old. Babies under 6 months swim free!

    • Families must provide all swimmers for semi-private and 3PP lessons.

  • Refer a friend and receive a discount off your next month of lessons.

Program Information

  • • You can start any time that works for your family!

  • • We know that consistency is important and we do our best to have the same swim instructor teach your child’s swim lesson. However, if your swim instructor would like a day off or gets sick, you will have a substitute swim instructor for the lesson.

  • • We will do our best to help find a schedule that works best for your family and to keep your children swimming at the same time, or close to the same time based on their swim level and availability.

Schedule

  • • We have a very successful and proven swim progression that we train each of our instructors. We have a detailed, extensive training process as well as ongoing skill review and targeted training to keep our instructors the best in the industry!

  • • Each of our instructors is trained to work with each swimmer at their unique swim level – and to take over a lesson for an instructor who might not be available.

  • • Our Deck Supervisors monitor swim lessons to ensure safety protocols are followed and that ou instructors are maintaining the highest level of quality instruction. Deck Supervisors also test swimmers on a monthly basis, send Progress eamails to families with details on swim skill achievement and work to be the direct point of contact for families with any questions about their swimmer’s swim lesson and progression.

Instructors & Deck Supervisors

  • To stop lessons, please log into your family account through our Customer Portal and complete the “Drop Lessons” form.

In the form, you will enter a drop date, which means your child’s last lesson date.

Drop requests must be submitted before tuition is processed on the 1st of the month.

For example, if you want your child’s last lesson to be their June 16th lesson, you would complete the “Drop Lessons” form and enter June 16th as the drop date/last lesson date. This must be submitted before June tuition is processed on June 1st. That way, when June tuition runs, our system will prorate your tuition to include only the June lessons that take place on or before June 16th.

If you want your child to complete all June lessons and stop at the end of the month, you would enter June 30th as the drop date/last lesson date. This must be submitted before July tuition is processed on July 1st.
